Small Business Assistance Program (SBAP)

Welcome to the Small Business Assistance Program (SBAP) at the Anderson School Center for Support of Economic Development. SBAP provides direct support for local for-profit small businesses at no cost to the firm and is funded by Los Alamos National Laboratory and Sandia National Laboratories. Graduate students from Anderson's Management of Technology (MOT) program work directly with businesses to provide technical assistance, including the following:

  • Target market research for new small high-tech companies
  • Technology assessments to enhance the capabilities of small firms
  • Technological forecasting
  • Creating technological product descriptions / value proposition narratives
  • Technology commercialization analysis
